This year, Terminal XXXIX (T-39), located in the Port of Santos, had its contract renewal announced, being extended from 2025 to 2050. With that, Rumo and Caramuru, companies that own control of the Terminal, will make a series of improvements in dispatch, storage and reception operations.

To contribute to this important moment, LPC Latina is developing the Executive Project for the expansion of the Terminal’s operating capacity, which include the implementation of five new concrete silos for agricultural grains, with a static capacity of 20 thousand tons each; a new shipping line; the acquisition of a Shiploader, equipment for ship loading in berth 37, which will be operated by the Terminal; in addition to a conveyor belt that will connect the warehouse to the pier, with a capacity of 2,500 tons per hour.

According to Renato Gama, Executive Director of LPC Latina, the expansion of this Terminal is very important for the company’s history and for the evolution of the Port Complex. “Our main clients in the Projects area are concentrated in the Port of Santos. For this reason, we closely follow each movement to modernize the place. When we are invited to participate in Projects like this, we dedicate ourselves from beginning to end to generate the best results for our client and for the progress of Brazil ”, he concludes.
