Monitoring soil displacements and ensuring soil stability control is the main function of the inclinometer, which is used by the Geotechnical Instrumentation area of LPC Latina to measure inclination angles and horizontal plane movements.

The instrument consists of a cylindrical tube produced in aluminum, installed by means of a vertical drilling, reaching deeper layers of the ground. Its application allows to detect the depth and the amplitude of possible displacements of any nature.

The inclinometer is used in the field by technicians of the Instrumentation area, who perform the data reading and make the automatic transmission to the Engineering team, enabling a complete analysis of the subsoil and its behavior in relation to excavation works and buried structures.
