Considered one of the largest logistics companies in South America, Navios South American Logistics will start operating, in 2020, a new Terminal in Porto Murtinho, in Mato Grosso do Sul. Developed by LPC Latina, the project occupies 215 meters of the margins of the Paraguay River, and aims to optimize the flow of grains from the region, reducing time, costs and ensuring the competitiveness of production in the international market.

With modern facilities and a state-of-the-art design, the new river structure will house multimodal operations and allow the handling of multiple loads, including corn, soy, sugar, fertilizers and fuels. Silos with a capacity of 45 thousand tons of grain, 36 thousand tons of fertilizers and tanks of 14 thousand m³ are planned at the Terminal.

The expectation is that Porto Murtinho will become an export hub for the State, both for its strategic location and for the investments that will come in logistics and infrastructure.
