LPC Latina is responsible for monitoring the expansion works of the East Line of the Fortaleza subway, which will complement the capital’s urban transport network, integrating the Center with the South and West lines, the VLT Parangaba-Mucuripe and the Bus Terminal in Papicu.

Using the most modern equipment related to instrumentation and also its monitoring system, GE.N.I.O – Cloud Management of Instrumentation and Works, LPC Latina participates in Phase 1 of the project, which foresees the construction of Chico da Silva Stations, Colégio Militar, Nunes Valente and Papicu, as well as the connections between tunnels, ventilation shafts, emergency exits and a parking lot.

In total, the East Line will be 7.3 kilometers long and will have a surface station and four underground stations. Once completed, the project will have the capacity to transport up to 150 thousand passengers per day, in addition to reducing the travel time between the Center and Papicu to 15 minutes.
