Recently, LPC Latina carried out the instrumentation of the RIO 2016 Olympics Mobility works, more precisely in the new section of the Metro Line 4 of Rio de Janeiro, working on the internal monitoring of the tunnels and the impact of the work on the surface.

With a specialized team, logistics capacity for service, including urgent demands, in addition to the most modern equipment on the market, the company was responsible for ensuring the physical security of those involved and the buildings surrounding the area of ​​deployment of the new stations.

All phases of the work are narrated in the book “Line 4, in the history of the subway of Rio de Janeiro”, which details the construction of the project from the initial phase of acquisition to the completion of the five new metro stations, and highlights the participation of the LPC Latin America in the implementation of the project, executed in strategic locations to benefit the residents of the surrounding area.

Completed in the middle of this year, Line 4 of the Rio de Janeiro Metro, which connects Ipanema to Barra da Tijuca, is 16 kilometers long and carries an average of 300,000 people a day, reducing travel time and allowing integration between areas of the city.
