We are managing the Itapoá Port expansion project, which takes place in a total area of over 300,000 m², in the city of Itapoá (SC).
The project, which has its work carried out by Piacentini Tecenge do Brasil, includes:
– Backspace, divided into two phases: “A” (100 thousand m² current work) and “B” (210 thousand m² future work). At the site, geodrenes and backhoe overloading were implemented to accelerate primary recharge, and drainage works, electrical infrastructure, stacking of post bases and construction of reefers platforms bases are ongoing, among others.
– Pier, with a length of 170 meters in length, which has: 199 metal tubular stakes, which will be filled with concrete. The superstructure will consist of precast concrete pieces, assembled by means of cranes. Such stakes are being welded in a shipyard in the city of Navegantes and the precast vessels manufactured in Jaraguá do Sul. Modes of transport to the Port will be barges, for the piles, and highway, for the precast. The nailing is already happening.
