Considered the largest and most important in Latin America, the Port of Santos completes, today (02/02), 125 years.

Inaugurated in 1892, when the Companhia Docas de Santos (CDS) delivered the first stretch of 260 meters of wharf for the world navigation, the Complex reached, over the years, several records of cargo movement.

LPC Latina is closely linked to the history and progress of the Complex and has been involved in the design and management of works on 26 of the most important terminals of the Santos quay, including TGG, TERMAG, BTP (Brazil Terminal Port) , Santos Brasil, T-Grão, Libra, Rumo, Copersucar and the Passenger Terminal Giusfredo Santini (Concais).

Due to its expertise in the port infrastructure and intermodal terminals sectors, LPC Latina also carried out the inspection of the alignment work of the Outeirinhos Pier, with the objective of increasing Port’s handling capacity, as well as optimizing the service to vessels.

Today, the Santos pier has 15,960 meters of extension and 65 berth berths, in addition to a total of 55 maritime terminals and retroportuaries.
